An example of a transform


Let's look at how these Transform keyframes would change the appearance of an image in the final output:

Adding in the units, this is a transform of 3.00 frames East, with -20× rotation and 50% scaling about (0.00E, 7.00S).

This is the image we will use as input, exactly as it was scanned in. We also show its field chart, a small 'target' showing the center of rotation and scaling, and an outline of the camera viewing it:

(Note that because this image is on registration and unaltered, its field chart is initially identical to the scene field chart.)

The E/W keyframe moves the image and its field chart 3.00 frames East using the scene field chart:

The Angle keyframe rotates the image and its field chart through 20× anti-clockwise, about the center set by the Center keyframe (i.e. (0.00E, 7.00S) on the image's field chart):

The Scale keyframe scales the image and its field chart about this same center to 50% of their original size:

It may help you to see the effect if we superimpose the node's input and output, both as seen from the camera's view:
